Accessibility

We want everyone who cares for horses to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification or other assistive technology.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice, that means:
- every page can be used with a keyboard alone, including the menus and the question-and-answer sections;
- photos that carry information have text descriptions, and text has enough color contrast to read easily;
- pages work on phones, tablets and computers, and can be zoomed up to 400% without losing content.
Content from other providers
Some services, including our online forms and our online pharmacy, are run by other companies on their own websites, so we don’t control how accessible they are.
