Progressive Exercise

Gradual, weekly-reviewed loading that rebuilds strength while protecting healing structures.

An essential part of rehabilitation is progressively loading the injured structures. The goal is to maintain full range of motion while gradually increasing exercise, encouraging the body to heal in the most optimal way. Each horse’s program is evaluated weekly to make sure the horse is tolerating the increased load.
